“Do the best you can until you know better, then, when you know better, do better” ~Maya Angelou

I believe we are all doing the best we can with what we know: in relationships, parenting, fitness, nutrition, health care, mindset, organization and life, we all want to show up to be our best. Nothing is static, life is a dance, ever changing and evolving. Now that I know better, I’m committed to doing better, while inspiring others to do the same.

I was born and raised in Davis, California. My athletic, competitive spirit evolved into me playing competitive soccer through High School and getting the opportunity to traveling throughout the Unites States for tournaments and winning 3 California State Cups, Regionals and National Championships. Competitive soccer taught me teamwork, leadership, achieving goals, time management, and going after what I wanted.

I graduated from High School and immediately went to UCSD to study psychology. My love of athletics and teamwork continued at UCSD on the lacrosse field. I received the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award my Freshman year and the role of Captain my Junior and Senior years. My passion for travel and adventure led me to study abroad to Costa Rica for 6 months to attend the University there, immersed with Costa Rican students. Upon graduating from UCSD, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in elementary teaching. Helping children grow socially, academically and emotionally is a passion of mine, and I found myself back in Davis at UCD to get my Bilingual (Spanish) teaching credential and Master’s in Education. My teaching career lasted ten years.

kidsIn 2007, my daughter Sophia was born, and in 2009, my son Jackson was born. In 2010, Jackson was diagnosed with Autism, which changed my ability to manage both my career and family. By 2014, it was not possible for me to continue my teaching career and devote the time to both Jackson and Sophie that they needed.

Upon Jackson’s Autism diagnosis at 18 months, we immediately began researching early behavioral and medical interventions to help Jackson reach his full potential. We took Jackson to Autism specialists, cleaned up his diet and followed many detoxification protocols to help Jackson’s body rebalance.

familyAs I researched more about how to help Jackson, my passion for health, nutrition and wellness escalated. I cleaned up our physical environment from toxins, switched to Organic food, added in Essential Oils and supplements, added a whole house water filtration system, and became conscious of our toxic environment. We flood Jackson’s body with organic, nutritious superfoods and detox out built-up toxins. Everyday, we see nice advances in Jackson’s health and wellbeing. My goal is to help Jackson reach his fullest potential.

In 2015, I partnered with a global wellness company, and began educating people on the effects of toxicity, lack of nutrition, stress, and obesity. Since then I have been coaching people to better health and wellbeing. As a mother, I feel that health, both in body, mind and spirit, is the most important thing we can posses, because if we don’t have our health we don’t have our lives. I am committed to help people transform their lives by regaining their health, mindset, and experience prosperity.

I live in San Jose, California with my husband, Misha and our two children, Sophia and Jackson.
