IonCleanse by AMD Footbath
Earlier this week, I posted the following update on Facebook:
“Jackson’s afternoon routine when he gets off the bus…superfood avocado pudding with his daily supplements mixed in (that he helps me make!) and a 30 minute IonCleanse footbath. Proper nutrition in, toxins OUT!”
The response was HUUUGE, so I wanted to make sure to share our experience using the IonCleanse by AMD Footbath.
Let me backtrack for a moment to provide some background so this post makes sense. Jackson is almost 7 years old, and was diagnosed with Autism at 18 months of age. To read more about Jackson’s story, you can go back to my first and second blog posts.
We’ve tried many behavioral and medical interventions these past 5 years including:
Gluten Free/Dairy Free/Soy Free/Paleo/Organic diet
Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber
BRAVO Probiotic Yogurt
Methyl B-12 injections
Treating for parasites and viruses
Son Rise Playroom
Stem Cells in Panama
External Counter Pulsation Therapy (ECP)
IonCleanse by AMD Footbath
The list of things we’ve tried with Jackson is extensive, and I know I’m missing some…I could write a whole blog post on each of these interventions!
What I know for sure is Jackson’s body is still flooded with toxins….candida, inflammation, EMFs, heavy metals, parasites, mold, viruses, etc. Whereas most healthy, working bodies can detox excess toxins naturally, Jackson’s doesn’t (without additional support). We still use homeopathy and essential oils for gentle detox, and have since introduced the IonCleanse Footbath, another non-invasive method of detox that he enjoys!
I’m part of many Autism Facebook groups, and when I heard about other parents’ successes, I knew it was an intervention I wanted to try. We ordered our IonCleanse footbath from A Major Difference (https://www.amajordifference.com). Knowing the footbath came with a 60 day money back guarantee and hearing other parents’ testimonies were enough for me to order it to see how Jackson would respond.
Jackson has been soaking now for about 6 months, and at the end of 30 minutes, the water is always a bubbly brown with flecks of black and other chunks of particles that have detoxed through the feet. Sophie and I occasionally soak also, and by the end of our soaks, the water is frothy and dark.
I do believe the footbath is helping Jackson’s detox, but Jackson did not respond as other children did. I still include it in his detox protocol because he enjoys it and junk is obviously coming out.
