What I Ate Today Thursday…I’m a little behind!

I’ve read several other blogs and always like reading and seeing what others eat throughout the day, so I’m giving it a go!  My food philosophy is to eat a variety of foods, eat when you’re hungry, stop eating before you’re completely full, drink lots of water throughout the day, eat as many whole foods as possible, organic, non-gmo and gluten free (I’m not Celiac that I know of, but I feel better without it).

Today started early at 4:40am, to get to my 5am Orange Theory Fitness class. I drank tall glass of water (with lemon) and my AM Vitamin Pack.  I drank my pre-workout products and got in the car.

7:15am Got my coffee on while packing lunches, getting breakfast, tying shoes…you know the deal:-)

IMG_02948:30am Kids off to school, I blend up my shake & greens and am out the door for an appointment.

I was out an about all morning, and didn’t even think about food until I got back home around noon.  Often I’ll have another snack around 10:30am.

12:30pm Lunch!  I always keep fixings for quesadillas, except I found out I was out of the mexican cheese blend, so I used mozzarella, and it wasn’t quite as tasty as it usually is…though I hardly noticed since it was smothered in guacamole!

I usually have a snack or another shake in the afternoon, but strangely, I wasn’t hungry, so I didn’t.  Maybe it was the fact that I hadn’t workout out in a week and I shocked my body with an intense workout?  I drank a couple of glasses of water and the kids kept me busy until dinner.

 6:30pm We made pizza and salad, but I forgot to take a picture of my plate until I was halfway done!  The pizza was good, but next time I’m going to add some pecorino romano cheese for some added saltiness and some dried italian herbs for some extra seasoning.
